Statement by New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker

“The State Department of Health has heard of reports that the Parcare Community Health Network, an Orange County provider, may have fraudulently obtained the COVID-19 vaccine, transferred it to facilities in other parts of the state in violation of state guidelines and diverted it to members of the public – contrary to the state’s plan to administer it first to frontline health professionals, as well as residents and health care workers. We take this very seriously and the DOH will help the Police State in a criminal investigation into the matter. Anyone considered to have consciously participated in this scheme will be held liable to the full extent of the law. “
