Stardew Valley is five years old now, the creator thanks fans for staying with him

And I’ve been playing for so long too

Stardew Valley it is a timeless game. It’s something I’ll be playing for the next few decades, so I’m happy to be on as many platforms as possible: the easiest way to preserve it!

The photo above is one of my first farms, which I started years ago and still come back from time to time. Last week, Stardew celebrated its fifth anniversary. That is … a long time ago in the collective consciousness of games!

While so many projects today are overlooked a week after launch, Stardew resisted. In part, remember, due to the tireless efforts of the creator, Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. They have been instrumental in the success of the game, not only making free updates to keep the game interesting, but also interacting with fans, adding a caring fascination to everything Stardew related (including a heartfelt thanks for the birthday celebrations)

At this point, it far exceeded the reach of the original PC, with countless fan mods, pieces of merchandise and, more recently, a board game. The sphere of the game is better with Stardew Valleyand Barone, in it.
