Star Wars: Republic Commando looks set to change

Republic Commando

The 2005 launch of LucasArts Star Wars: Republic Commando seems to be on its way to the Nintendo Switch.

Known dataminer @ NWPlayer123 spotted an update to the Nintendo server that apparently confirms that Aspyr Media is publishing Republic Commando on the Switch. Aspyr is the same team that changed Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy, Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast and Star Wars Racer.

Stars Wars: Republic Commando is a squad-based first-person shooter that was originally exclusive to Xbox and PC and has gained some cult following. This would obviously mark the first time it was released on a Nintendo platform.

If we have a more official update on this one, we will definitely let you know. In the meantime, let us know in the comments if this would be a Star Wars game that you would be interested in playing on the Switch.
