The Biden government is hypocritical for appearing to reject the Center for Disease Control’s guidance to reopen schools, Trump’s former White House director of strategic communications, Alyssa Farah, said on Friday.

Psaki also said that the director of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Rochelle Walensky, was not discussing the official guidance of the CDC, but rather new data, as she has said repeatedly in recent days that teachers do not need to be vaccinated for schools to reopen in person.

Walensky on Wednesday, in the same White House briefing room that Psaki spoke on Thursday, said that vaccines do not appear to be necessary for schools to open in person.

Psaki also did not answer the question of whether, as negotiations continue, it becomes clear that the unions will refuse to allow schools to be opened for face-to-face education, whether the Biden government will take a stand against them.

Farah argued that it is “hypocritical” by the Biden government not to reopen schools as the CDC director approved.
“So it’s really an impressive degree of hypocrisy that they now have medical experts, they have scientists proving that it is safe to have children back in the classroom, but they are politicizing and holding on purely because of pressure from Democrats are receiving from teacher unions, “said Farah.
