Square Enix will unveil a new Life Is Strange game and will present new details about upcoming and released games during a live digital showcase on Thursday, March 18. Including Outriders, Marvel Avengersand the new mobile game Just Cause.
Square Enix Presents will be broadcast on Square Enix’s YouTube and Twitch channels starting at 1 pm EDT / 10 am PDT on March 18th. The presentation will take approximately 40 minutes, Square Enix said.
The biggest confirmed announcement will be the world premiere of the upcoming Life Is Strange game “featuring a brand new protagonist wielding an exciting new power,” Square Enix said in a press release. Other games that will be discussed during the presentation include:
- Outriders, The People Can Fly RPG shooter, which will arrive on April 1
- Balan Wonderworld, the colorful platform game from Sonic the Hedgehog and Into Nights Dreams creators Yuji Naka and Naoto Oshima, scheduled for release on March 26
- WonderAvengers of, which will add Hawkeye and receive updates for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on March 18
- Just Cause Mobile and new mobile game ads from Square Enix Montreal
- unspecified games from Taito
Not mentioned in the Square Enix press release, games were announced on the Japanese side of the publisher, so don’t expect major updates to titles like Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy 16, or Athia Project during Square Enix Presents.
