Magic Kingdom visitors today are receiving push notifications from My Disney Experience indicating that Space Mountain is currently unavailable.
The message comes from Jason Kirk, vice president of Magic Kingdom park. Cast members are working diligently to get the attraction back up and running, but between PeopleMover still under renovation and Space Mountain temporarily unavailable, two of the main attractions on earth are now unavailable.
Across the park, Peter Pan’s Flight in Fantasyland and Splash Mountain in Frontierland are also unavailable to guests from 12:00.
Recently, My Disney Experience also has several push notifications for other unexpected attraction stops, such as Expedition Everest at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. We will update this post as soon as the attraction returns to operation, stay tuned!
