The state of South Carolina decided to go ahead with a spring football season in 2021 and now has dates to set with its opponents.
SC State has four games scheduled, home series with two of their original rivals MEAC.
SCSU will open the season away from home against Howard University on March 6 in Washington DC The following week, they will have the chance to play at home when hosting Delaware State at Oliver C. Dawson stadium in Orangeburg, SC.
The schedule then provides SCSU with consecutive farewell weeks during the weekends of March 20 and 27.
Then he is back north to SC state, while returning the favor to DSU and arriving in Dover, Delaware, on April 3.
The condensed season will culminate in Orangeburg on April 10, with SC State hosting Howard University.

The three programs on this calendar were the only ones at MEAC to try to advance the season. MEAC suspended the spring football season on February 11 after a total of six schools dropped out.
Bethune-Cookman was the first program to give up in October. A few weeks later, Florida A&M did the same. Both programs played their final competitions as MEAC programs, as they will go to SWAC this fall.
North Carolina Central became the third MEAC team to decide to stay out in the spring when it made its decision in January. This left six schools divided into two divisions of three teams, going into the final weeks before the start of the season on February 20.
Norfolk State then withdrew due to concerns about COVID-19, leaving five programs remaining. Two days later, MEAC announced that it was postponing its season after six of its programs were canceled. Morgan State dropped out due to COVID-19, while North Carolina A&T decided not to play since it was determined that there was no chance of playing for a championship.
