South Carolina St vs. Clemson – Game Review – December 2, 2020

CLEMSON, SC – Hunter Tyson had 13 points and six rebounds, freshman Olivier-Maxence Prosper scored 11 points and Clemson beat the state of South Carolina 75-38 on Wednesday night at the Tigers’ home debut.

Tyson crowned a 10-0 streak in the first half with a 3-point lead to a 20-point lead and finished with 10 points in the first 20 minutes to help Clemson build a 36-18 lead. Clyde Trapp hit two free throws for a 30-point lead, with 6:36 to go before the second half.

Clemson (3-0) threw 47% of the field, scored 25 points in 24 SC State turns and had a 36-13 lead on the bench points.

Clemson received four votes in the AP Top 25 poll on Monday, after victories over Mississippi and Purdue in the Space Coast Challenge.

Aamir Simms, who was elected the tournament MVP after scoring 24 points in the game for the title, had eight points, four rebounds and four assists in 21 minutes against SC State.

Sebastian Guitian had 10 points and six rebounds for SC State (0-3).
