UNION, SC – Police say the driver of a 1992 Chevrolet pickup truck died and two individuals were injured after a fatal accident in Union County on Sunday.
Police say the collision occurred around 4 am on February 7 on the Whitmire Highway, and the Chevrolet driver was found dead at the scene.
Investigators say the Chevrolet driver was heading south on the Whitmire Highway when they traveled to the left of the center and crashed into a 2005 Jeep SUV in the northern traffic lanes.
A Chevrolet passenger, Victoria Harrison, 23, was injured and was taken to the Spartanburg Regional hospital, and the Jeep driver, Ashley Rodriguez, 24, was also injured and was taken to the Spartanburg Regional for treatment. .
Police have not yet released the identity of the Chevrolet driver.
