While the South Carolina Gamecocks were preparing for National Signature Day, TheBigSpur began its transition from coverage from class 2021 to cycle 2022.
Two days before the first Wednesday in February, South Carolina offered the Spring Valley quarterback DeQuandre Smith. Gamecocks are looking at it as security.

The quarterback takeover for 2022 has been an important story in recent weeks. After Gunner Stockton uncommitted and committed to Georgia, Tevin Carter (Memphis, Tennessee) was the first potential customer in the class to share an update with TheBigSpur
Several stories have since been posted in Tanner Bailey (Fat, Ala.). The first was published the day before the Signature Day. South Carolina offered the next day.
Earlier this week, Bailey detailed his recruitment with Steve Wiltfong of 247Sports. A day later, Bailey received a Crystal Ball forecast for Gamecocks.
Two more 2022 defenders were offered after Bailey. One and Drew Allar (Medina, Ohio). The other is Greenwood, Indiana. Tayven Jackson.
Two defenders have pledged since the National Signature Day. One and Carlins Platel, a transfer from Assumption College, which will graduate in May, before enrolling in South Carolina this summer.
The next was 2022 three star security Anthony Rose, which is outside of Hallandale, Florida. What does it add to the Gamecocks’ 2022 recruiting class?

South Carolina technicians began to draft recruitment plans in the state of North Carolina. This includes the four-star running back Michael Allen (Greenville, NC) and JD Lampley (Rockingham, NC), a three-star defensive tackle being recruited to play on the offensive line in South Carolina. Both are in the 2022 class.
Some quick tips were shared with Eston harris (Opelika, Ala.) And DJ Jackson (Sumter, SC). Harris is a three star offensive striker. Jackson is a three-star defensive striker.
