Ticket prices for the South Carolina Gamecocks season are a little cheaper now.
On Monday afternoon, athletics director Ray Tanner made the announcement in a video posted above the story. A price release was also distributed by the university. It is posted below.
South Carolina officials today announced the launch of a new program to bring fans back to the Williams-Brice Stadium. The “Welcome Home” campaign will feature setback prices for Gamecock Football season tickets at the 2010 price of $ 320 plus the applicable seat donation. The special $ 320 one-year price for the season comes as a nod to the ticket price in 2010, the senior year of the head coach Shane Beamerfirst stop in Columbia.
“If we continue to be diligent, I hope we can have football this fall, fill the stadium and enjoy all the traditions of the match day that we are used to having,” said the Athletics Director. Ray Tanner. “Our team has been working hard to come up with ticket pricing plans that will try to bring you back. There is nothing like gameday in Williams-Brice – Gamecock Walk, 2001, Sandstorm, rooting for Gamecocks. I hope to see you in these special Saturdays in the fall. “
The promotional price is available for new and renewal accounts. Due to ongoing financial challenges, donors have the option of turning the discounted amount into a donation to benefit the COVID Resilience Fund.
Invoices were sent to accounts of Gamecock Club members who renewed their membership within the original deadline of January 31. The Gamecock Club membership deadline has been extended until March 31 to provide relief for those who need more time. The football ticket and the parking period are set for May 21.
