South Carolina man accused of exposing children and adults to HIV

SUMTER, SC (WVLT) – A South Carolina man previously accused of inappropriate acts with children now faces additional charges of exposing people to HIV.

WIS reported on February 26 that Dominique Weston, 26, was accused of two counts of exposing another to HIV.

Weston was taken into custody earlier this month after a witness reported finding inappropriate content on his cell phone with a child under the age of 6.

According to authorities, Weston was accused of criminal sexual conduct of the third degree, attempted lewd act with a minor and second degree sexual exploitation of a minor. A charge of first-degree criminal sexual conduct was added later after an investigation.

South Carolina police also accused a woman known to Weston after shots were fired at her vehicle after an argument on February 9.

Danielle Henderson, 30, was arrested on February 24 and accused of unloading a firearm in an occupied vehicle.

Weston and Henderson were taken to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.

WIS reported that Henderson is no longer in prison.

Weston was denied bail after his most recent charges. His previous bail was $ 75,000, which he posted, according to court records.
