We are exploring all options for achieving this integration, while realizing the vision of the 38th Commander’s Planning Guidance related to the modernization of our training facilities to ensure that our Marines remain capable, relevant and lethal in the future. Due to a variety of limitations, neither the Marine Corps Recruit Depots Parris Island nor San Diego are currently able to ideally train recruits in an integrated environment. At the moment, any comments on courses of action are premature, as we are simply exploring all the options. “
