Senator Lindsey Graham, Republican and chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee, won a fourth term. He faced a surprisingly strong challenge from Jaime Harrison, a Democrat and ex-lobbyist who also served as president of the state’s Democratic Party.
Graham recently chaired Supreme Court confirmation hearings for Judge Amy Coney Barrett and, in recent years, he has become a vocal advocate for Trump. And Harrison’s financial support has been impressive: from July to September, he raised an impressive $ 57 million, the highest quarterly revenue for a Senate candidate in the history of the United States.
