South Carolina basketball alumni are competing professionally around the world.
The South Carolina basketball program is in the midst of its most successful run since the days when Frank McGuire roamed the sides of the Gamecock. The team ended in the first half of the SEC four of the past five seasons. They have made two post-season appearances since 2016, including a run for the Final Four, and if it weren’t for the Coronavirus pandemic, Frank Martin’s group would have made a third appearance in 2019.
The program’s success is due in part to the players who passed through Columbia. There are currently four ex-Gamecocks in the NBA, and a number of others playing abroad. Here is an update of each alumni and a glimpse of their careers after college.
