Someone finally figured out how to make the AC Valhalla Nodens’ Arc the way Ubisoft intended.
For the uninitiated, a few days ago, an Assassin’s Creed Valhalla player found a way to obtain the absurdly powerful Isu bow simply by cutting a pile of stones, which the narrative director Darby McDevitt soon clarified it was not the method intended by Ubisoft. “For your information, this is an intelligent brute force hack, not the ‘proper’ way to get this bow.
Today, YouTuber Access The Animus declared victory in the race to discover how you “should” find the AC Valhalla Nodens’ Arc Isu arc. In a video explainer, ATA goes through the various steps necessary to obtain the OP arc and, well, you still need to break the rocks, but with a specific sword and at a specific time of the day.
Without minimizing ATA’s impressive detective work, the answer to finding the Nodens’ Arc bow in the right way is in the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Collector’s Edition steel briefcase. The materials contain clues written in Isu that the ATA was able to decode with the help of some friendly clues from the creator of the Isu language and Associate Game Director at Ubisoft, Antoine Henry.
Make sure to check out the full video at the top, as the Ubisoft mystery is incredibly enigmatic and ATA deserves credit for cracking the code, but here’s the quick and dirty: you need to get the Excalibur sword, go to the same pile of stones used in the hack, and hit well at sunset.
I’m not sure how anyone would have figured this out organically, let alone someone without the Collector’s Edition materials to find the clues, but that’s an incredible feat of ATA perseverance, however.
If you don’t have the Excalibur sword or don’t want to wait until sunset, here’s our guide on how to obtain the AC Valhalla Nodens’ Arc unofficially, and don’t miss our complete Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Guide in solving any of the other mysteries and challenges that you may be struggling with.
