‘Soho Karen’ ridiculed for ‘trash’ crop top, sandals and socks

She was called in by the courts, but not by the fashion police.

“Soho Karen” Miya Ponsetto gained national notoriety last month after being arrested for attacking a 14-year-old black boy whom she unjustly accused of stealing her iPhone. Now, the 22-year-old Californian has been accused of another crime: wearing sandals with socks and other “garbage” clothing.

In several photos, the little devil can be seen sporting an untidy variety of tops, Birkenstocks, black socks and leggings typical of a college student on a laundry day, as pointed out by Twitter. She was even photographed wearing the shocking costume at a Manhattan police station on Saturday, shortly before being charged with attempted attack on Keyon Harrold Jr.

Needless to say, social media was not impressed with “Soho Karen’s” clothing choices.

“Who appears in front of a judge dressed in a short top?” wrote a Twitter critic of faux pas fashion. “This piece of trash is who.”

“I think I found my next Halloween costume,” joked sarcastically in a photo of her sporting her trademark “uniform” – ankle cuffs included – while showing off on her criminal walk.

Another wrote: “Doesn’t she have real clothes? Does she just have a look and no shoes? What a cartoon character. “

To be fair, Ponsetto has changed his wardrobe on occasion. During an interview with Gayle King the week before her arrest, the former cheerleader wore a black baseball cap with the word “daddy” – an item abundant at retailers like Etsy – against her attorney’s wishes.

Meanwhile, the footage shows her wearing jeans and a belt in place of her trademark leggings, while fighting with police officers during a DUI arrest in the weeks before the phone fiasco. She, however, still sported her tattered Birkenstocks brand and cropped top.

Unfortunately, it seems that Ponsetto is not going to change his shameful outfit for an orange jumpsuit anytime soon. She was released from NYPD custody last week.

His next court date for attempted assault, attempted theft, endangering a child’s well-being and major theft on fourth-degree charges is March 29. She remains at liberty supervised by her alleged attack on Harrold, which many considered a racially motivated incident.

Ponsetto said that she could not be considered racist due to her ethnicity. “I am Puerto Rican,” said the persona non grata to King. “I’m, like, a black woman. I am Italian, Greek, Puerto Rican. “
