‘Soho Karen’ Miya Ponsetto arrested for alleged attack in New York

“Soho Karen” Miya Ponsetto, who allegedly assaulted jazz trumpeter Keyon Harrold’s 14-year-old son at a Manhattan hotel, was arrested in California on Thursday, sources said.

The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office and the New York Police Department arrested 22-year-old Ponsetto in Ventura, and she must be charged with attempted theft, law enforcement sources told the Post.

Ponsetto is set to face a judge on Friday before he is extradited to New York, the sources said.

The NYPD issued an arrest warrant and detectives recently traveled to California to question her about the attack.

Ponsetto made national headlines when he was filmed accusing Keyon Harrold Jr. of stealing his iPhone at Hotel Arlo. The video posted on Instagram by the teenager’s father shows Ponsetto allegedly attacking Keyon and trying to steal his phone.

The Post found Ponsetto in front of a McDonald’s in Piru, California, last week, where she clarified that she was Puerto Rican.

The Post photographer asks Ponsetto if she regrets the incident and she responds to the camera: “I’m fine, thanks. Have a great day. Take care. “
