Texas players, coaches, media members and fans were excited about the game plan of Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian at the national championship against Ohio State.
This brought a great sense of enthusiasm to those involved in the Texas football program. Sarkisian was appointed technician at the University of Texas on January 2 and his introductory press conference in Austin is scheduled for Tuesday at 4 pm CST.
His attack was dominant and accurate at the highest stage of college football, defeating the Buckeyes 52-24 and scoring 28 of those points in the second quarter. Sarkisian was creatively activating play to get the ball into the hands of his most explosive game creators.
It is something that Texas fans craved under former coach Tom Herman. It must finally happen to Sarkisian at the helm, as he has confirmed to the American statesman that he will call the shots in Texas in the near future.
