The 13:00 hour was very good for the Georgia football program for the 2021 season. Quarterback JT Daniels, running back James Cook and defensive player Devonte Wyatt announced that they are back next year.
Daniels started things a little before 1:30 pm, with Wyatt following and Cook raising the fireworks on social media.

All three players played key roles for the Georgia 2020 team. Daniels started his last four games for Georgia as a quarterback. The Bulldogs won all four games and averaged 37 points and 486 yards of attack per game in that period. Daniels launched 10 touchdowns for just two interceptions in that period.
As long as Daniels gets a full off-season to work with his talented pass catchers, he should only continue to grow and improve. Daniels will also spend more time with Todd Monken, who spoke highly of his relationship with the Georgia quarterback.
“How can we move on, a guy like JT, who is certainly able to distribute the ball, understanding where we want to go with football,” said Monken. “It is an exciting time, especially for me. Hopefully, we will have the chance to have a legitimate off-season, to be able to study what we have done, what is the difference we want to change as we move forward. “
Cook had his best season for Georgia, accumulating 528 races and receiving yards and five touchdowns in eight games for Georgia. Cook did not have a chance to play in Georgia’s 24-21 victory over Cincinnati at the Peach Bowl, as he was with his family after his father’s sudden passing.

Wyatt is a key player in Georgia’s defensive line, as he started every game at the defensive tackle point for the Bulldogs this season. He took 21 tackles and 14 pressures for the Bulldogs. Regardless of what undecided Jordan Davis does, Georgia should now have one of the best and deepest defensive lines in college football next season.
All the announcements generated a lot of enthusiasm and excitement around the Georgia program, as several fans, coaches, players and members of the media expressed their opinions about Cook, Wyatt and Daniels’ decisions.

The unfinished business slogan seemed to be a key theme in these posts and will probably be something we will hear a lot in the 2021 season.
Georgia ended the 2020 season on a high, winning their last four games of the season, including a victory over one of the top 10 teams in Cincinnati to end things.
The Bulldogs, however, will face a tougher test when the 2021 season begins, as Georgia will face Clemson in Charlotte to open the next season on September 4.
And several people are already looking forward to what will almost certainly be a clash of the top five teams. The Tigers arrived at the College Football game last season, but are expected to replace Trevor Lawrence and Travis Etienne.
