Bird watchers were in Central Park on Thursday looking for a rare visitor, a Snowy Owl, who was seen in the park the day before.

He was later seen perched on the North Meadow.

The bird quickly became one of the main attractions of the city, drawing large crowds in the park, despite the freezing temperatures.

Eyewitness News captured the rare white owl of Central Park on camera a week ago, after it was first seen in more than 100 years.
