Snoop Dogg is finally speaking after being insulted by Eminem on a new song – this after Snoop kind of despised Shady himself – and it looks like some good old hip-hop meat is cooking.
The Doggfather left a revealing comment in an IG post on Eminem’s fan page, which featured clips of Marshall recently explaining why he called Snoop by name on his new track, ‘Zeus’, which was released earlier this month as part of of your ‘Music to be the deluxe Murdered By album.

Snoop’s thoughts for Em’s justification … “Pray not to answer that soft shit.” He added a bunch of smiley emojis later, so it looks like this can be fun. But still … angry.
ICYMI … Eminem earlier this week revealed why he shot Snoop at ‘Zeus’ – saying he was responding to comments that the Long Beach rapper made over the summer on ‘The Breakfast Club’, where he said that Em it wasn’t in his eyes, he wasn’t a top 10 rapper and he could live without Eminem’s contribution to hip-hop if he had to choose the historic impact.

Snoop also said that Eminem would be nobody without Dr. Dre – something Em really agreed with. His whole business is Snoop’s tone, which he says he considered disrespectful and unnecessary in defending his point of view. Em says that everyone is entitled to his opinion on the best rappers to do this, but he was surprised at how Snoop was about dismissing him.
As for what Eminem actually said about Snoop, it was not as impetuous as you can imagine. The lyrics go … “And when it comes to crushing the meat, I’m used to people hitting me / But, just not in my field / And diplomatic as I’m trying to be / The last thing I need is Snoop doggin ‘me / Dude, Dogg, you were like a (yes) damn god to me / Nah, not really (Haha) // I had “dog” back / But I’m starting to think, all these people taking shots I / S **, no wonder. “
Remember, Snoop and Eminem run in the same circle – they both worked extensively with Dr. Dre … so it’s understandable why Shady was shocked to hear Snoop talk about him the way he did. To us, it doesn’t sound like Snoop was targeting Em in a bad way, but the latter clearly understood it that way.
The only question now … what happens next ??? Em said what he had to say, and assuming Snoop’s words here weren’t just a joke … an obscene track from him could be coming 👀
