‘SNL’ will return from hiatus in March with Maya Rudolph as host – Deadline

Saturday Night Live will return to live shows on March 27 with Maya Rudolph as a host and rapper Jack Harlow as a musical guest, NBC’s evening show unveiled tonight.

Rudolph was a cast member for the 2000-2007 show, but has made several trips back since then – including last season, when she played current Vice President Kamala Harris.

SNL He returned from the winter hiatus on January 30 with five consecutive episodes, a sequence that ended tonight with Nick Jonas as the host and musical guest.

The current season featured Chris Rock, Bill Burr, Issa Rae, John Mulaney, Dave Chappelle, Jason Bateman, Timothée Chalamet, Kristen Wiig, John Krasinski, Dan Levy, Regina King and Regé-Jean Page.

Harlow had a successful single last year with “Whats Poppin” and his debut album, That’s what everyone says, was launched in December.
