“Saturday Night Live” had some rare hits against the liberals and Joe Biden during its “Weekend Update” segment.
After weeks of facing criticism for apparently ignoring the Biden government, the show’s parodic news segment managed to get some pictures of the 46th president, as well as his liberal supporters at Saturday’s show.
Hosts Colin Jost and Michael Che started the game by sharing the news that the House of Representatives approved a $ 1.9 trillion coronavirus stimulus package on Friday night.
“Like me when I’m drunk, Congress decided to spend a lot of money at 2:30 am,” began Jost. “They approved a $ 1.9 trillion stimulus project and Republicans are calling it a ‘liberal wish list’.”

He added: “I don’t know, I think a liberal wish list would be avocado toast with Chrissy Teigen, a free pet college and a hip-hop musical about Anderson Cooper starring Lin-Manuel Miranda.”

Although the hosts apparently don’t scoff at the left often, Jost then joked about Republican Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, who objected to raising the federal minimum wage.
“Because over the years, Graham has come to love the taste of the saliva of fast food workers,” said Jost.
Che then took the reins, rebuking the left again for referring to another critic of the minimum wage, Republican Senator John Thune.
“Senator John Thune said he opposes the $ 15 minimum wage because he used to survive on $ 6 an hour when he was young,” began Che. “But that was 40 years ago, when the rent was a dollar and everyone had a porn tape. That’s why Democrats never do things. You keep leaving it for a vote and taking ‘no’ for an answer. When Republicans lose a vote, they invade the capital. Why can’t you be so angry? Say what you want about a guy in a Viking helmet doing rubbish on Nancy Pelosi’s table, but he won’t be ignored! “

Che also criticized Biden for his plan to increase the share of the coronavirus vaccine in black communities, turning more churches into vaccination sites.
“I’m sure Biden has good intentions, but that’s such an old idea in white,” said the comedian, shaking his head. “You know this idea started with the words ‘Hey, do you know what these people love?'”
Keeping the ball on political comedy going, Jost also sneered at Senator Ted Cruz and former President Donald Trump, who will speak at the 2021 Conservative Political Action Conference on Sunday.
“For a preview of Trump’s speech, give cocaine to your grandfather,” said Jost of what will be Trump’s first public speech since he left office on January 20.

He also noted that Cruz also spoke at CPAC. In his speech, he referred to the recent political disagreement that led him to be criticized for taking a vacation in Cancún, Mexico, with his family, while people in his state faced a deadly storm that left millions of people without power.

“Yes, no, stop,” said Jost after a clip of the replayed speech. “You don’t do that. No, you’re not in on the joke. It’s not for you to enjoy.”
