‘SNL’: Regina King as Gorilla Glue Girl in law firm ad

Saturday Night Live scoffed at the viral saga of the woman who wore Gorilla Glue in her hair with a sketch about a law firm specializing in suing the makers of the super adhesive.

Although the sketch did not mention Tessica Brown’s name, the Louisiana woman’s month-old nightmare after applying Gorilla Glue spray to her hair serves as the obvious inspiration behind the sketch, with Kenan Thompson and SNL Presenter Regina King acting as a (monetary) attorney for other Gorilla Glue victims

“Fact: Every day, a person is a victim of using Gorilla Glue instead of a beauty product,” says King’s lawyer character in the sketch. “Fact: Big Gorilla is a multi-billion dollar industry and we deserve half.”

The infomercial featured testimonials from other people who accidentally used Gorilla Glue on their hair because the product label didn’t tell them no for.

“It’s a mistake that can happen to anyone, like brushing your teeth with Preparation H,” says King’s lawyer.

In another testimony, a woman blames the glue for the wound she inflicted on herself when she tried to put a “Stone of Infinity” on her forehead as Lil Uzi Vert.

“Look, we’re not stupid people,” Thompson’s lawyer, himself a victim of Gorilla Glue, reiterates at the end of the ad. “We are going after you, Gorilla!”
