A post made on 4Chan in May suggests that Doomguy, Rayman and Ryu from Ninja Gaiden are coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

A post made on 4Chan in 2020 may have leaked the identity of the next three DLC fighters who will come to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, as he correctly predicted that Min Min, Steve and Sephiroth would come to the game. Masahiro Sakurai revealed in January that Super Smash Bros. Ultimate would receive a second Fighters Pass, with six new characters.

At the time of writing, three of the DLC characters in the second Fighters Pass were revealed. The first was Min Min’s ARMS, which was the revelation that caused yawns all over the world. The second character was Steve from Minecraft, along with skins for Alex, Enderman and Zombie. Steve’s announcement caught Twitter, so it’s fair to say it was more exciting than Min Min. An anonymous post made on 4Chan in May it has caught the attention of fans, as it correctly predicted three of the existing DLC fighters, and apparently predicts the next three. According to the post, the next three DLC fighters will be Doomguy’s Doom, Rayman and Ryu Hayabusa’s Ninja Gaiden.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Leaks

Min Min / Ninjara’s forecast is not very surprising, as it has already been revealed that a ARMS character was coming into the game. It is also possible for someone to guess Steve’s inclusion, since many people predicted that Minecraft would be represented in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Sephiroth’s prediction is what really makes people pay attention in this post, since most people assumed that the next Square Enix character would come from a different franchise, like Final fantasy was already represented in the game.

There are rumors about Doomguy and Ryu Hayabusa coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for a while now. Doomguy definitely deserves a place in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but the other characters are more suspicious. Ryu Hyabusa would probably play similarly to other characters in the game (like Sheik), although Rayman’s limb-less arsenal could be an interesting fighter. There are series like Mortal combat that deserve a place, while a character from a FromSoftware game would be more exciting for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate also missing a Pokémon from Pokémon sword and shield, which also seems like a safe bet for inclusion. The leak may be in the money with its predictions so far, but fans may not be very happy if it turns out to be true.
