CHARLESTON, SC (WCSC) – A low pressure area will slowly move away from Lowcountry over the next 24 hours. Clouds, drizzle and fog are to be expected this morning as the humidity is left over from the night rain. The drizzle and fog will disappear in the late morning and some rays of sunlight are possible this afternoon. It will be a cold day with highs in the mid 50’s. The sky will clear up tonight, but the foggy areas can develop again during the night. The fog will give way to the sun and then some clouds in the afternoon on Wednesday. The maximums will be between 50 and 50 years. The brightness of the sun will increase on Thursday with highs in their 60s. A cold front will come on Friday with clouds increasing during the day and some possible showers late. The coldest weather will come over the weekend.
