Post Malone was accompanied by RED HOT CHILI PEPPERS drummer Chad Smith and GUNS AND ROSES guitar player Strike during his presentation on Thursday (December 31) as part of the “Bud Light Seltzer Sessions Presents: New Years Eve 2021” Facebook Live broadcast. The rapper did a cover of ALICE IN CHAINS“Rooster” with Smith, guitarist / producer Andrew Watt and bass player Chris Chaney, before playing BLACK SATURDAYin “War Pigs” with the help Strike and the trio mentioned.

“Gifts from Bud Light Seltzer sessions: New Year’s Eve 2021” was broadcast live from MGM Resorts in Las Vegas. The show was presented by Lilly Singh and Matt Steffanina, and also featured sets of Saweetie, Steve Aoki and Sebastián Yatra.

BLACK SATURDAY singer Ozzy Osbourne was a prominent guest at Post Malone song “Take what you want”, who appeared on the rapper’s most recent album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding”. Post also collaborated with Ozzy in the last LP of the latter, “Ordinary guy”.

Speaking for Zane Lowe of Hit 1 about working with Ozzy in “Take what you want”, Post said: “Ozzy Osbourne, baby. I was in Utah because I had just left the tour. It’s good, right? Ozzy went to WattHome of. You talked a lot before. He’s a maniac. I said, ‘Hey, you know what? Ozzy Osbourneit’s going down. We will cut and I will face you. And you let me know what’s going on. We talked and it was like a big deal. Yes. Ozzy Osbourne. I think he smashed it. I mean, he was talking to Watt and Watt was telling me that he was like, ‘Hey, this is my favorite I’ve done since, you know, SATURDAY and since I started my own path. ‘I was like,’ This is huge. ‘ I’m honored. Thank you very much.”

Last April, Post Malone, which is a great NIRVANA fan, participated in a show broadcast live on his Youtube channel acting NIRVANA “successes and fan favorites” in raising money for the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund. Support Post during the performance were BLINK 182 drummer Travis Barker, guitar player Nick Mack and bass player Brian Lee.

Post Malone previously covered “All excuses” to live. It also has some NIRVANA tattoos, including a portrait of Kurt Cobain on the knuckles and the title of the song “To stay away” on your forehead.
