Regina M. Zimmerman82, of Lititz, formerly of Pine Grove, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born on October 3, 1938 in Pottsville, she was the daughter of the late Harry C. and Frances M. Kintzel Daubert.

She graduated in 1956 from Pine Grove High School and in 1959 from Reading Hospital School of Nursing.

Regina was an RN and worked at Berks Heim for 27 years.

She was a member of the Lititz Brothers Church.

Regina loved to cook, bake and pad.

Her 60-year-old husband, Marvin A. Zimmerman, survived; two children, Brian Zimmerman of Shillington, Bruce and wife Cyndi Zimmerman of Slatington; three grandchildren, Erica Zimmerman, Rachel Zimmerman and Callun Bryce Zimmerman.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 8, 2021 at 11 am at Schuylkill Church of the Brethren, 347 Sweet Arrow Lake Rd., Pine Grove with Pastor Eric Landram officiating. There will be an exhibition on Thursday, April 8, 2021 from 10 am until Church service hours. The burial will take place at the Schuylkill Church at the Brothers Cemetery, Pine Grove.

Instead of flowers, the family prefers that contributions be made to the Church of the Lititz Brothers, 300 W. Orange Street, Lititz, Pa. 17543 in their memory.

Robert L. Krammes, Sr., 88, from W. Main St., Tremont, passed away on Saturday, April 3, 2021 at Tremont Health & Rehab Center.

Born on November 10, 1932 in Rock, he was the son of the late Arthur and Bessie Krause Krammes.

Robert graduated in 1951 from Porter Twp. High school.

He was a veteran of the United States Army during the Korean conflict, serving in Germany for 2 years.

Robert was a production manager at A&P Food Store, where he worked for 41 years.

He was a member of St. Peter’s UCC, Tremont, American Legion in Tremont, Tremont Area Senior Citizens and Newtown Fire Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and sports, and was an avid fan of Penn State and Philadelphia Phillies.

Preceding him in death were his wife Violet Krammes in 1976; a son, Bruce Krammes; three brothers, Arthur Krammes, Floyd Krammes and Edward Krammes; three sisters, Eva Kramer, Dorothea Kutz and Minerva Ritter.

Surviving are his loving companion, Shirley Fitzpatrick de Tremont; three children, Robert L. Jr. and wife Stacey Krammes of Hegins, James and wife Debra Krammes of Newtown, Ronald and wife Kathy Krammes of Tremont; her adopted daughter Lori and husband Jim Deichert of Newtown; grandchildren, stepchildren, great-grandchildren, great-grandchildren stepchildren; four brothers, Allen Krammes of Schuylkill Haven, Bill Krammes of Harrisburg, Clarence Krammes of Nashua, NH, Thomas Krammes of Pottsville; nieces and nephews.

Burial and burial services will take place on Friday, April 9, 2021 at 11:00 am at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Tremont, with Pastor Claude Schach officiating. There will be an exhibition on Thursday, April 8, 2021, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at HL Snyder Funeral Home, Inc., Pine Grove.

Katherine Chelak, 95, of Buck Run, Foster Township, passed away on Thursday at Providence Place in Pine Grove.

Born on January 18, 1926 in Buck Run, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine Gober. She graduated in 1943 from Cass Township High School and worked in the local clothing industry.

She was a housewife, caregiver and matriarch of a large family. She never forgot a birthday or a special occasion.

A devout Catholic who loved her Church, she was a member of St. Matthew Parish, the Evangelist Church of the Holy Family in Minersville.

Preceding her death were her forty-year-old husband, Stephen Chelak, and four brothers, Anna Postick, Joseph Gober, Frank Gober and Sophie Borrell.

Katherine leaves the brothers Josephine Romanko, Pine Grove, Rose Turnowchyk, Lancaster, Paul Gober (spouse, Monica), Sumter, South Carolina, and Thomas “James” Gober (spouse, Marion), Deptford, New Jersey; nieces and nephews.

The visit was at the Dutcavich Funeral Home, Sunbury Street, Minersville, with Christian Burial Mass at St. Matthew’s Evangelist Church, 139 Spruce Street, Minersville.

Grave services will be performed at 11:30 am on Friday, April 9, at St. Mary’s Old Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, St. Canicus Road & Cemetery Road, Mahanoy Township. Pandemic restrictions prevent the construction of tents in the cemetery’s services. Please come prepared for rainy weather.
