Sixers may start allowing fans at the Wells Fargo Center from March 1

The Wells Fargo Center had a feeling of emptiness in the 2020-21 season. The Philadelphia 76ers has been excellent as it tops the Eastern Conference standings and there were no fans to testify due to COVID restrictions and Joel Embiid had to wave to the empty seats after the big games.

That could all change from Monday, March 1, as the state of Pennsylvania is allowing 500 fans for internal events. It won’t be anything close to the 20,000+ that the Sixers normally draw, but it will be nice to have a few fans in the building during what has been a fun season.

Philadelphia is 14-2 at the Wells Fargo Center so far this season and there is no doubt that fans would go crazy whenever Embiid had a great night or Ben Simmons gave a great slam. It will be good to have passionate Philadelphia fans back in the arena.
