Six oath keepers who protected Roger Stone stormed the Capitol, New York Times reports

Video evidence shows that six members of the extreme right-wing Oath Keepers who protected Roger Stone on January 5 and 6 stormed the Capitol. The New York Times reports. The newspaper says that some can be seen teasing officers outside the Capitol, and then everyone can be seen inside the building during the insurrection. Stone said he played no role in the riots and saw no illegal behavior by the Oath Keepers. But in a statement he may come to regret, he said that if any of them violated the law, “they should be prosecuted”. Other Oath Keepers were arrested, including two who were hit by the most serious conspiracy charge. One of them, army veteran Jessica Watkins, reportedly had a “quick reaction force” waiting outside Washington, DC, to supply weapons.
