‘Single’ contestant nearly passes out during the rose ceremony, doctor named

A doctor made an appearance in the Monday night episode of “The Bachelor”, when one of the female contestants yearning for lead Matt James nearly passed out.

Sarah Trott, a 24-year-old journalist from San Diego, California, needed help during the rose ceremony when she stumbled on set. Trott’s instability caught James’s attention, who interrupted the ceremony and went to Trott to ask if she was okay.

“I’m, like, seeing stars,” said Trott, according to Yahoo.

Competitor Bri Springs, a 24-year-old communications manager in San Francisco, also noticed Trott’s plight and alerted a doctor. Springs told the producers, “She’s going to pass out.”

The second episode of the 25th season ended with a “To Be Continued” message, prompting questions from Bachelor Nation fans who were desperate to find out if Trott was okay.

A Twitter user who called Trott one of his favorite competitors so far wrote: “I hope she is very discreet.”

Another concerned, “Sarah is really having a total panic attack. I hope she is okay.”

“NOOO IS SARAH OK?” another viewer asked.

“Ummmm Sarah are you okay?!?!” a person tweeted.

At the beginning of the episode, Trott was one of two women who received a rose from the main role of “Bachelor”. She would have established a bond with James after opening about her father’s diagnosis of Lou Gehrig’s disease.

James is making history this season as the first black star on ABC’s competition show.

Before his debut, he sat down for an interview with People, in which he discussed his ultimate goal as a model for the black community on the show.

“I hope that being in this position paves the way for people like me to be and everything is normalized,” he said. “‘Oh, Matt was a great Bachelor.’ It doesn’t have to be, ‘Oh, he was a big black bachelor.’ “

James continued to discuss his experience of growing up as a child of interracial parents and the pressures he is feeling to leave a good legacy.

“This is something that keeps me up at night. It’s like, I don’t want to piss off black people, I don’t want to piss off white people, but I’m both. Do you know what I mean? Like, how do I please everyone?” he said.
