Silento supposedly shot his cousin, and now he’s facing a murder charge for that.
The rapper for “Watch Me (Whip / Nae Nae)” was arrested on Monday for alleged murder Frederick Rooks after an investigation into the man’s death … according to the DeKalb County Police Department.
Police officers say they found Rooks shot dead on the street on Jan. 21 … and 8 rounds of bullets at the scene. Police say they still don’t have a clear reason behind the shooting.
As to how they connected Silento to the crime, we don’t know for sure … but the police say they obtained images from the circular camera of houses in the area that captured at least one shot, and several vehicles fleeing the scene.

As we reported … Silento had a difficult 2020 year, legally speaking. He was arrested in october after the police said he was driving 143 MPH … and in September, he was arrested and charged with 2 crimes of assault with a deadly weapon for allegedly threatening people with an ax.
He is currently being held in DeKalb County Prison. We contacted your camp … so far, radio silence.
