A new Silent Hill game may be in development, according to composer Akira Yamaoka.
The silent Hill series is one of the most popular in the game. The disappointment when Konami canceled the long-awaited Silent hills after your mind-boggling playable trailer, PT, was palpable across the gaming landscape. Since its cancellation and public separation from Hideo Kojima, the thought of a new silent Hill he was almost dead. That is, until today. In an interview with BoHrayed from ALHub, silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka revealed that he had a big announcement to make, but he still can’t do it.

Although he clearly did not confirm that he was working on a silent Hill game, it’s hard to imagine what else he might be talking about. The Bloober Team announced yesterday that it has already started work on its next terror project, but said nothing about whether Yamaoka will return to his score.
