Side effects of the Covid vaccine: side effects of each vaccine to detect

The launch of the vaccine has advanced at such a speed and, although many are aware of the potential side effects it can cause, there are few reports warning of what could happen. What are the main side effects to note with each vaccine – what are the three side effects that can be fatal?

In a study published in the BMJ, doctors in Norway evaluated severely frail patients who were vaccinated to determine symptoms that could be of concern.

Doctors in Norway were advised to assess severely frail and terminally ill patients to determine whether the benefits of vaccination outweigh the risks of possible side effects, after reports indicate that the vaccine’s side effects may have led to the deterioration and death of some patients, observed the study.

He continued: “Reports of 33 suspected adverse drug reactions with fatal results following the administration of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine were received by the Norwegian Medicines Agency on 17 January.

Raj Bhopal, professor emeritus of public health at the University of Edinburgh, said: “What is happening in Norway is probably happening in other countries.

“The MHRA will certainly take Norwegian reports seriously and will look at the data here.

“Side and adverse effects are common, but have not been presented to the public in detail, which helps to get everyone involved quickly.

“But this is a short-term strategy, and open and transparent communication is needed in the long run.”

Side effects of the Modern vaccine from a previous trial included fatigue for 7 percent of participants, 8.9 percent had muscle pain, 5.2 percent had joint pain, 4.5 percent had headache, 4, 1 percent had pain and 2 percent had redness at the injection site.

These symptoms were reported among study participants aged between 18 and 55 years.

People over 55 have had many of the same side effects, but have reported them in smaller numbers, which is expected because the immune responses become weaker during the aging process.

The reported side effects of the Pfizer vaccine during the trial included 59 percent of participants who reported fatigue, 52 percent reported headache, 37 percent reported muscle pain and 35 percent reported chills seven days after receiving the second dose of the vaccine.

About 16 percent reported a fever of 100.4 degrees or more.
