Knight shovel, the platform indie hero with a set of blue armor and a distinctive spade, has appeared on the block and appeared in some games. Now, the knight is coming to Ubisoft For honor, or at least your armor is.
For honor it’s all about great fighters fighting with melee weaponry, so fighters will have access to their big blue horned helmet, as well as a few others Shovel Knight-inspired clothes, emotes and executions. All of them are pleasantly pixelated, reminiscent of the Knight shovel art style, which is a bit anachronistic in For Honor, but it still gets important style points.
Knight shovel has been strangely common as a cameo in other games, perhaps because of the game’s popularity. He – along with other characters from the original platform game – appears in Cook, serve, delight: battle cuisine, Road redemption, Aether rivals, Brawlhalla, Bloodstained: Ritual of the Knight, NecroDancer Crypt, Yooka-Laylee, and it is even an assistance trophy in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
For honor joined that list, but the animations and clothing will only be available until March 4th.
