Shia LeBeouf ‘denies any’ allegation of aggression by his former FKA branches

Shia LeBeouf ‘has denied any and all accusations of aggression made by her FKA branches – and wants her to pay her court costs after she accused him of’ relentless abuse ‘.

The singer – whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett – filed a lawsuit against her former actor in December, accusing him of sexual assault, aggression and the imposition of emotional suffering.

Now LeBeouf, 34, said he ‘denies, in a general and specific way, any and all allegations contained in the [Barnett]Complaint of, denies that [Barnett] suffered any injury or loss due to any act or omission on the part of [LaBeouf], and denies that [Barnett] is entitled to any repair or damage of any kind ‘in accordance with the legal documents obtained by People.

His lawyers add ‘none of the alleged acts were based on sex and / or the conduct was not sexual’ while trying to get the charges of sexual assault dismissed.

LeBeouf’s team said it wants Twigs to pay its court costs, as well as “additional measures as the Court deems fair and appropriate”.

Earlier on Wednesday, LaBeouf was reported to have ‘separated’ from his agent while receiving care at a residential treatment facility.

It is understood that he stopped working with the Creative Artists Agency (CAA). Insiders told Variety that CAA did not work with the actor for about a month, but did not fire him.

In his lawsuit, Twigs, 33, claims that LaBeouf intentionally gave her an STD and abused her – both emotionally and physically – during the relationship that left her ‘with PTSD’.

The pair dated for less than a year before ending things in May 2019, with sources saying that at the time the separation was due to their working hours.

In a detailed incident in the FKA Twig process, LaBeouf was reportedly speeding in Los Angeles in February 2019 when they were returning from a trip to the desert.

He took off his seat belt and threatened to crash the car unless she said she loved him, the lawsuit says.

LaBeouf stopped at a gas station after Twigs said she begged him to stop and let her out. When she took her bags out of the trunk, LaBeouf allegedly threw her against the car, yelled in her face and forced her back into the vehicle.

Just before the gas station incident, Twigs claims that she woke up in the middle of the night to find the Transformers actor suffocating her.

She told the podcast Grounded With Louis Theroux: ‘I got PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder] from there, which again is just something that I don’t think we really talk about as a society just in terms of healing on leaving, and how much work must be done to recover, to get back to the person you were before. ‘

In response to his ex’s claims, LaBeouf issued a statement to the New York Times that said “many of these claims are not true”, although he admitted, “I am not in a position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel.”

“I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, just rationalizations,” he said. ‘I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting those closest to me. I’m ashamed of this story and I’m sorry for those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say. ‘

LaBeouf has now been receiving treatment for more than five weeks and his release from the unidentified facility will depend on his recovery.

After news of the lawsuit was released, several other former LaBeouf partners came forward to accuse him of various forms of abuse.

The singer Sia accused the actor of ‘cheating her’ into an adulterous relationship with him, calling him a ‘pathological liar’. LaBeouf had already starred in his music video for the song Elastic Heart in 2015.

Composer Katy Rose also claimed that she once ‘groped’ it ‘violently’ at a party in the Hollywood Hills and stylist Karolyn Pho entered the Twigs lawsuit.

Pho, a stylist, claimed in the suit that LaBeouf ‘drunk pinned her to a bed and headbutted her, enough for her to bleed’.

Questions also arose about his sudden departure from Olivia Wilde’s film, Don’t Worry Darling.

LaBeouf was chosen for a role, but left the project before starting to shoot and was replaced by Harry Styles.

LaBeouf’s prison history goes back to the 1990s, with separate apprehensions for stealing Nike coaches and a Pokémon Gameboy.

On July 27, 2008, the following year, he was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving in Hollywood after he and two women were injured in a car accident.

Although LaBeouf required surgery on his hand, there was insufficient evidence to convict the actor, even though he failed the breathalyzer test.

In 2011, he reportedly got into a bar fight while filming The Company You Keep in Vancouver, Canada, although no arrests were made.

The worst would come in 2014, when police arrested LaBeouf outside Studio 54 in New York City amid reports of disturbing behavior during a Cabaret performance.

During the incident, he screamed from the audience before slapping actor Alan Cumming on the ass and hurling insults at the arresting officers.

He later pleaded guilty to misdemeanor of disorderly conduct, resulting in the actor receiving three months of treatment for alcohol abuse.

Another arrest occurred in October 2015, with LaBeouf arrested in Austin, Texas, for misdemeanor, public intoxication, while participating in the Austin City Limits music festival.

Two other incidents occurred in 2017, with the actor arrested on suspicion of assault for misdemeanor in New York City that February, before being taken back into custody for obstruction, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness in Atlanta, Georgia, in July.

In September 2020, he was charged with a felony assault charge and a felony theft charge following a physical altercation with another man that July.
