Shia LaBeouf can be referred for a long-term rehabilitation

(Newser)
– The bad news keeps coming to Shia LaBeouf. Variety reports that the actor was removed in September from the cast of a promising film directed by Olivia Wilde. The reason he lost his role in Do not worry, dear is not explained in detail, but history notes that Wilde generally maintains a “zero-a-hole policy” in his sets. The famous temperamental LaBeouf apparently did not meet this standard. Worse for him, the film was seen as a kind of comeback for LaBeouf, who alienated much of Hollywood with his behavior, according to Variety.

Of course, the news comes amid more serious news about LaBeouf, notes People. Former girlfriend FKA Twigs filed a lawsuit this month alleging a pattern of abusive behavior, and another ex, singer Sia, appeared to support Twigs. LaBeouf’s own lawyer is not trying to mitigate what is happening. “Shia needs help and he knows it,” says Shawn Holley Variety. “We are actively looking for the type of meaningful, intensive and long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs.” (Read more stories by Shia LaBeouf.)
