Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley allegedly broke up amid accusations that he abused his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs.
“They finished on Saturday. They are just in different places in their lives, ”a source told People. The source added that Qualley’s main focus is his acting career.
And another source told the site that he was aware of the “reaction” he would receive for dating LaBeouf in the midst of the legal battle against Twigs, which accused him of sexual assault, assault and the imposition of emotional suffering.
According to Page Six previously reported, LaBeouf, 34, and Qualley, 26, were caught snogging at LAX airport in December 2020.
And that same week they were photographed going for a run together in LA.
The two were last photographed together on Monday in Studio City, California, as well as on a walk in Los Angeles the day after Christmas, People reported.
LaBeouf made headlines in early December, after Twigs sued the actor for his allegedly abusive relationship.
In an email to the New York Times – which revealed the story – LaBeouf wrote: “I am not in a position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel. I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, just rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years. I have a history of hurting those closest to me. I’m ashamed of this story and I’m sorry for those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say. ”
Days later, Sia said she was “cheated” in a case with “pathological liar” LaBeouf – and warned women to “stay away” from the “sick” Hollywood star.
LaBeouf’s lawyer told Variety on December 24 that he is seeking “long-term inpatient treatment”.
Netflix then deleted the actor from its “For your consideration of award” page.
The representatives of LaBeouf and Qualley did not immediately respond to our request for comments.
