Shia LaBeouf and Margaret Qualley join hands on a romantic walk in the Hollywood Hills

Shia LaBeouf and his new girlfriend Margaret Qualley enjoyed a romantic walk in the Hollywood Hills at Christmas – after his lawyer recently revealed that he is going into rehab after the sexual assault lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs.

As the pair walked hand in hand, the tormented 36-year-old actor seemed excited to show his love for Andie MacDowell’s 26-year-old daughter.

For the ride, he wore a graphic blue T-shirt, gray shorts, and sunglasses, while the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood star rocked with jeans, a white T-shirt, and a baseball cap.

Unlike his man, who chose not to wear a mask, Qualley kept his nose and mouth covered in the midst of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The two have been practically inseparable since their relationship went public with a PDA session after LaBeouf picked up Qualley at LAX airport on Saturday.

Things seem to be going well for the couple, despite the circumstances, as they talked and got some fresh air.

On Thursday, it was revealed by Labeouf’s lawyer that he is going into rehab, and it was also alleged that he was fired by Olivia Wilde for his new film and replaced by Harry Styles because of his ‘disconcerting attitude’.

LaBeouf, 34, is already being sued by ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs, who claims he knowingly infected her with an STD and relentlessly abused her.

Since she filed papers in court earlier this month, singer Sia has also accused LaBeouf of ‘inducing’ her into an adulterous relationship with him. She called him a ‘pathological liar’.

Composer Katy Rose also claimed that he ‘felt’ her ‘violently’ at a party in the Hollywood Hills once and stylist Karolyn Pho entered the Twigs lawsuit.

Questions also arose about his sudden departure from Olivia Wilde’s film, Don’t Worry Darling.

LaBeouf was chosen for a role, but left the project before starting to shoot and was replaced by Harry Styles.

When Twigs introduced himself, Wilde publicly offered his support.

On Thursday, Variety published a source who claims he was fired by Wilde because he has a ‘zero-a-hole policy’ and his behavior was ‘disheartening’.

“He’s not an easy guy to work with,” said the source.

LaBeouf’s lawyer told Variety that they were looking for places for him to go to rehab.

‘Shia needs help and he knows it.

“We are actively looking for the type of meaningful, intensive and long-term inpatient treatment that he desperately needs.”

After Twigs filed the lawsuit, LaBeouf responded by email to The New York Times saying, ‘I’m not in a position to tell anyone how my behavior made them feel.

“I have no excuses for my alcoholism or aggression, just rationalizations. I have been abusive to myself and everyone around me for years.

“I have a history of hurting the people closest to me. I’m ashamed of this story and I’m sorry for those I hurt. There is nothing else I can really say. ‘

Twigs claimed in her lawsuit that she had attempted a deal with LaBeouf in particular, but he refused.

His lawyers say this is not true and that he has gone to great lengths to reach an agreement.

In his lawsuit, Twigs claims that LaBeouf knowingly gave her an STD and abused her – both emotionally and physically – during the relationship.

The pair dated for less than a year before ending things in May 2019, with sources saying that at the time the separation was due to their working hours.

In a detailed incident in the process, LaBeouf was reportedly speeding in Los Angeles in February 2019, when they were returning from a trip to the desert.

He took off his seat belt and threatened to crash the car unless she said she loved him, the lawsuit says.

LaBeouf stopped at a gas station after branches begged him to stop and let her out. When she took her bags out of the trunk, LaBeouf allegedly threw her against the car, yelled in her face and forced her back into the vehicle.

Just before the gas station incident, Twigs claims that she woke up in the middle of the night to find the Transformers actor suffocating her.

Twigs said she met LaBeouf in 2018, when she starred in the film Honey Boy that he wrote, and the two started dating after finishing filming.

She said he convinced her to stay in Los Angeles with him instead of going back to London, where she is from.

The lawsuit says LaBeouf initially showed “exaggerated displays of affection” for her, but then began to insist on rules, including how many times she had to show affection for him in one day.

She claims that he forced her to sleep naked and that he kept a loaded gun by the bed. In the process, Twigs says he feared going to the bathroom at night if he found her an intruder and fired the gun.

The singer also says in the process that she later learned that he did not like her to speak or look at waiters. Twigs started to keep her eyes down when the men spoke to her, the suit says.

The process details how LaBeouf began to isolate her so much that she began to doubt that her creative team and her manager were unable to reach her.

This happened at the time when she was finishing her Magdalene album, which resulted in the album’s release having to be postponed several times and her tour rescheduled.

Twigs said she finally started seeing a therapist who helped her plan her exit.

She was packing to leave in the spring of 2019 when LaBeouf came to her home and reportedly “grabbed her violently” in front of her housekeeper. He locked her in a room and yelled at her, the lawsuit says.

In an interview with NYT, another ex-girlfriend of LaBeouf, Karolyn Pho, described similar allegations related to her relationship with the actor.

She claims that he pinned her to the bed while she was drunk and headbutted her until she bled.
