Southern Charm star Shep Rose told Andy Cohen how he learned about co-star Madison LeCroy’s supposed romance with Alex Rodriguez – before the subject suddenly exploded at Bravo’s recent meeting.
Calling SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live” on Monday, Rose recalled that the cast was filming a trip to Capers Island, South Carolina, when LeCroy supposedly “said on camera – there are cameras buzzing around, we are in a boat – and she’s like, ‘Well, I’m dealing with A-Rod, but we can’t talk about it. Or they can’t transmit that, because I signed an NDA.’ ”
“It was the first time I heard about it and thought, ‘My God!'” Rose said to Cohen. “My eyes almost popped out of my head. But hey, you know, I think from what I understand, he approached her. ”
Rose said of the filming where LeCroy mentioned A-Rod, “they didn’t use that … and then we got [the reunion show]. A-Rod’s name was blown out of the meeting program when it was mentioned.
LeCroy later confirmed to Page Six that the mysterious man mentioned was in fact Rodriguez. But she insisted that they only spoke on the phone.
