Shawn Mendes and Dolly Parton featured on Apple Fitness + Audio Walking

“I’ve loved hiking since I was a little girl in the Smoky Mountains,” said Parton in Apple’s official statement. “I think it is very important to be able to go out and walk if we can during this time. I think better when I walk. And although many of us feel confined during this time, I am hopeful that people will take a walk along the memory road with me and all of us we can feel a little more freedom, taking time to walk together. “

“Taking a walk is a great way to clear the mind,” Mendes said in the statement. “It’s the simplest thing you can do to calm your body and soul, reflect and slow down. I hope people will feel the same sense of calm that I feel when walking and can bring that into their own experiences.”

Fitness + subscribers can enjoy Time to Walk episodes on their Apple Watch with AirPods or other Bluetooth headsets. New episodes will automatically appear in the Workout app on the Apple Watch and on the Fitness + tab in the Fitness app on the iPhone. Apple Watch users who use a wheelchair will have access to Time to Push, which automatically starts a wheelchair walking pace workout outdoors.
