When Shane Beamer Addressing the South Carolina football team as the head coach for the first time in early December, he said he wanted to gain the trust of his new players. More than three months later, as the Gamecocks are two weeks in the spring camp, it certainly looks like he did his job in building strong relationships with his players.

This week, a group of offensive and defensive players held the first two media availability sessions of 2021. Each player who made Zoom calls with members of the local media was asked to recall their first private conversation with Beamer during the winter or whatever. have learned about their new head coach since taking over the program.
From young players like Luke Doty, MarShawn Lloyd and Jordan Bruch to veterans like Eric Douglas, OrTre Smith and RJ Roderick, here are the first results of what the new Gamecocks coach looks like.
