Shailene Woodley confirmed that she and Aaron Rodgers are, in fact, engaged.
Rumors of a romance between the two started circulating earlier this month, before the football professional revealed just a few days after he was engaged, but did not say with whom.
Now, Woodley, 29, has announced his engagement in an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon”.
They started the discussion with Fallon by asking point-blank if the engagement rumors are true.

“Yes, we are engaged, we are engaged,” she said. “But for us, it’s not new news, you know, so it’s kind of funny, everyone is freaking out about it now and we thought, ‘Yes, we’ve been engaged for a while.'”
The star “Divergent” gushed over her boyfriend, calling him “a wonderful and incredible human being”.
“I never thought I would be engaged to someone who made a living throwing balls,” joked the actress. “I never thought when I was a little girl, ‘When I grow up, I’m going to marry someone who plays balls, yes!'”
Like his many fans, however, Woodley realized that Rodgers, 37, is “very good” at what he does.

She then reminisced about her past, shortly after they met, joking that her dog desperately wanted her to date Rodgers because he can throw a ball much further than “a meter”.
However, the star revealed that despite preparing to walk down the corridor with the athlete, she “never went to a football game”.

She and Rodgers “met during this crazy, crazy period,” she said. Professional sports games have had an extremely limited audience since the pandemic began.

“I haven’t been to a football game yet and before I met him, I had never seen a football game before,” she shared. “I didn’t really grow up with sports, especially American sports, it was never really on my radar.”
Woodley added: “I don’t know him as the football guy, I know him as the nerd who wants to host ‘Jeopardy!’, This is the guy I know.”

Rodgers has been linked to actress Olivia Munn and NASCAR for Danica Patrick, while Woodley dated rugby player Ben Volavola.
