Selena’s brother says the family wants to accept the posthumous Grammy award

Selenahis brother said his posthumous prize for his whole life is bittersweet … but the family is ready and willing to accept him at next month’s Grammy.

AB Quintanilla tells TMZ … he is hopeful that Selena’s parents will be able to join the rest of the family to receive the award in person at the Grammy, but if it is still not safe for the mother and father due to the pandemic, he would love to be there with their sister, Suzette.

AB also realizes that the entire Grammy ceremony may have to go virtual. No problem … the mega-producer behind some of Selena y Los Dinos’ greatest songs has big plans to turn his sister’s award into a family affair. He says the popcorn is ready.

He also says that it seems that Selena is still here whenever she wins a prize or breaks new records … even though it has been a quarter of a century since she was murdered.
