Sampath Nandi collaborated with Gopichand again and this time he took his lucky pet and the girl Racha Tamanna. The movie is making noise. This time Sampath chose a sports scene and added a commercial touch. Gopichand and Tamanna are Kabaddi coaches for the respective teams from the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Who messes with the coach of a female team in Kabaddi? What is their motive? How Gopi fights them all is the crux of Seetimaarr.
Director Sampath Nandi, who is known for capturing the pulse of the masses, seems to have targeted them with Seetimaarr. The teaser promises to be a mass action movie with a sports setting. The film appears to have been shot on a large scale. Mass one-liners are in place. Dialogues like “Kabaddi… Maidanam Lo Adithe Aata, Bayata Adithe Veta” hit the nail on the head. The action sequences are well filmed. The creators took special care with the high-octane fighting scenes. Gopichand uses different weapons to beat the henchmen. The teaser indicates that it is a Gopichand show.
However, the film has a stellar cast. Digangana Suryavanshi, famous for FryDay and Jalebi, is playing a crucial role in the film. She is a TV journalist whose role has a strong connection to the film’s story. Bhumika Chawla is seen in a significant role. Rao Ramesh, Subbaraju, Tanikella Bharani, Jayaprakash, Dev Gill, Tarun Arora, Preethi Asrani and et al. Bigg Boss’s fame, Akhil Sarthak, is also seen in a role in the film. Background music by Mani Sharma is a great asset. The production values are good. The U-Turn producers created a full-mass movie this time.
Will Seetimaarr make whistles in theaters? We have to wait until April 2nd to find out.
