See the cards made by Kate and William for the children of George, Charlotte and Louis for Princess Diana on UK Mother’s Day

From ELLE

Today is Mother’s Day in the UK, and Kensington Palace marked the holiday by sharing a very intimate look at how Prince William and Kate Middleton’s three children, seven-year-old Prince George, five-year-old Princess Charlotte and O former Prince Louis honors his late grandmother, Princess Diana, every year. The three write letters to her.

Kate and William showed each card and the message that their children wrote to Diana on Kensington Palace Instagram. They captioned the postcards of the gallery:

This year Mother’s Day will be different again.

Many of us will be separated from our loved ones, but looking forward to a moment, in the not too distant future, when we will be able to give our mother a hug again.

But for those in mourning, it can be particularly challenging today.

Every year on Mother’s Day, George, Charlotte and Louis make cards in memory of their grandmother, Diana, for William.

Whatever your circumstances, we are thinking of you this Mother’s Day 💐

George’s card said, “Dear Grandma Diana, happy happy mother’s day. I love you very much and I think about you always. Sending a lot of love from George xxxxx.”

Charlotte read: “Dear Grandma Diana, I’m thinking of you on Mother’s Day. I love you very much. Daddy is missing you. Much love Charlotte xxxxxxxxx”

Louis, who is two years old and not yet writing notes, has just signed his name, it seems.

George’s card is the first one shown in the gallery. But cards are often a rare glimpse into the lives of royal children, their creativity and the deep love they have for their late grandmother and memory. You can browse them below:
