The trailer gives more clues as to what will happen in the next film, including more about how Kong and his protectors, who are on a quest to find Kong his true home. Kong befriends an orphaned child named Jia, who is the only one who can really communicate with her. She even makes him his own Kong doll.
But their mission becomes even more complicated when they cross paths with the king of the movie’s furious monsters – Godzilla. Apparently, something is causing Godzilla to hurt humans and demolish cities.
In the trailer, the two monsters begin to fight immediately when Kong hits a right hook. This fight already looks incredible from the beginning.
The Godzilla Vs. movie trailer Kong also had an impressive photo of Godzilla invading a neon-saturated city that probably has no insurance against attacks by giant monsters.

That Godzilla vs Kong trailer was so stupid and ridiculous. I love it so much and I’m so excited.

By USA Today, the little girl in the trailer who befriends Kong is Jia (played by Kaylee Hottle). From her tattoos, she looks like Iwi … it was time for someone from Skull Island to become a real character. pic.twitter.com/xN11uN9ftR
