See Cardi B teaming up with Wayne and Garth for the second Uber Eats ad for ‘Wayne’s World’

Cardi B joined forces with Mike Myers and Dana Carvey for another Wayne’s WorldUber Eats themed ad.

Released today (February 4), the ad features Myers and Carvey reprising their roles as Wayne Campbell and Garth Algar, popularized in the 1992 film Wayne’s World.

In a return to the film’s revolutionary comedy style, the duo presents Cardi B after lamenting the use of celebrities in commercials.

“Eat locally,” says the rapper as he enters the frame. Later, she appears dressed in the suits of Wayne and Garth.

The ad features many of the Wayne’s World ‘Business cards, including Wayne’s signature white Fender Stratocaster, veiled sarcasm and the raucous theme song of the show within a show.

Cardi B joins Myers and Algar to sing the theme song, with the lyrics changed to celebrate “local food” and “delicious time”. Watch the clip below:

Myers and Carvey appeared in another Uber Eats ad, which debuted earlier this week.

In it, Wayne and Garth teased that they would see viewers in the Super Bowl, referring to the sporting event as “the game” and “big bowl” to avoid copyright infringement.

The success of the first commercial led Myers and Carvey to release a long video in which they thanked all the local American restaurants available on Uber Eats.

The video lasts over two and a half hours and features Alice Cooper, who makes a special appearance in the first Wayne’s World movie.

Cardi B plans to release his new single, ‘UP’, tomorrow (February 5). The track will be the first of the year and follows on from his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, ‘WAP’.

NME named ‘WAP’ his number one song of 2020, calling it “the titanic track that drenched the whole year”.

Last month, Cardi B revealed that the ‘WAP’ music video cost $ 1 million (£ 732,000) to shoot. The clip shows Megan Thee Stallion and Cardi B accompanied by Kylie Jenner and Normani in a mansion.
