DENVER – A second suspect was arrested for the murder of a man in a house near Monaco Parkway in Denver earlier this week, police said on Friday.
Tameka Lanise Dudley, 44, faces charges of first-degree murder, felony theft, felony theft, felony in the felony and robbery in the felony motor vehicle of the felony. Dudley was taken into custody on Thursday near South Parker Road and East Iliff Avenue.
Another suspect, Joshua Hamm, 38, was arrested on Monday when the incident happened just after 11:20 am
A third suspect was shot and killed by the police during the incident while trying to steal three vehicles, the third of which he managed to get into.
One owner was killed during the incident at block 900 in northern Monaco. A neighbor reported that the owner of the house was being beaten by three men.
On Tuesday afternoon, the Denver Medical Examiner’s Office identified the dead home owner as 64-year-old Mark Outman. An Outman relative was injured in the shooting and remained in critical condition this week.
When the police arrived, a suspect fled on foot and two others fled in a black 2009 Honda Fit, Clark said. The suspect who fled on foot was arrested nearby with a gun in his possession, according to Denver police lieutenant Matt Clark.

A second suspect who left Honda at some point in the chase was spotted by police officers while running down a nearby street with a firearm, according to Clark, who said the suspect allegedly aimed a gun at a driver on the street, alerting officers to shoot him.
It is unclear whether the suspect was hit at this point, but he crossed a central bed and threw the gun away while continuing to run, according to Clark. He then unsuccessfully tried to steal another vehicle before continuing to walk in the area.
Another police officer started following him, according to Clark, before the suspect stopped two more vehicles in Monaco. He entered through the passenger door of the vehicle, which had a woman inside at the time, Clark said. Moments later, the officer fired several shots at the passenger window, hitting the suspect, who later died at Denver Health Medical Center.
The Denver Medical Examiner’s Office on Tuesday afternoon identified the man shot and killed by police as 47-year-old Larry Hamm and said his cause of death was gunshot wounds.
Clark said investigators have so far not recovered another weapon from that vehicle, signaling that the suspect who was shot and killed was not currently armed. He said that so far there was no evidence that any of the suspects had shot police.
A bullet from one of the policeman’s weapons hit a passerby’s vehicle during exchanges, but the bullet did not enter the passenger compartment, Clark said.
As the pursuits continued, the police discovered Outman and a member of his family shot inside the house. Both were taken to the hospital, but Outman was pronounced dead.
Clark said that in addition to the two pistols recovered from the two suspects, a rifle was found outside Outman’s home. He added that investigators believe the suspects are linked to recent residential burglaries in the area.
No police officers were injured in any of the incidents, and the woman who was kidnapped suffered some injuries from broken glass, Clark said.
In total, three policemen fired seven shots during the ordeal, none of which was involved in previous police shootings, Clark said.
